[Gllug] ModSecurity On Ubuntu Server

Hello all, 

I'm looking for a good application level IDS that detects attacks on apache2 web server. I have already worked on ModSecurity.

Server: Ubuntu 10.7
web server: apache 2

appreciate any good security hints/links/docs.
