No, it's an example. It's the point at which the two situations can be
compared. It's not the only example anyone can come up with. It's just
one that's stuck in my mind, coming, as it did, from a very sceptical
statistician.

As implied: previous Monday's journey time was 1 hour, as usual.
Subsequent Mondays' journey time was 20 minutes.Don't ask daft
questions. I didn't say this was a one-off. I said this was due to the
congestion charge, which still exists.

I notice that you've given up on your instant, plastic inflatable bus
lanes as an explanation. Do I take it that you're just going to
continue until you find something on which can legitimately fault me?
If so, it might be worth my while saying something patently false just
to make you happy. How about: 'Of course, the introduction of the
congestion charge coincided with the Martian invasion of Earth'?
