Age discrimination laws are a joke. If it is really illegal to 
discriminate based upon age how can it be legal for the minimum wage to 
have different bands based upon age or for income tax allowances to be in 
th eregion of £13,000 per year for a person aged > 60 but only about 
£530 for those of us not so old?
