[Gllug] Ubuntu hangs

Hi all, I have been trying to get wireless to work on Ubuntu and  
thanks to Caroline (cheers) got somewhere, but although my network was  
detected and I gave the correct password I still couldn't get on. I  
was going to try it without encryption but had to go out. I booted up  
my computer and now it hangs on "configuring network devices" or  
something like that. It seems to get jammed. Any ideas? Reinstall  
Ubuntu???
