Interesting. We see quite a lot of crashes (we have to deal with several 
a day) across a few hundred machines, but admittedly, not many of these 
are irrecoverable (ie blue screening) given decent hardware.

It's less bad, yes. Nearly as good as NT4. Vista is less stable at the 
moment.

But don't do this except on a home machine.
