Except that the slagging off came from the guy who unsubscribed, in the
quote above.

His problem was not that he didn't get constructive suggestions, but
that he wanted to keep going down the wrong road, but wanted it to be
the right one. A problem familiar to anyone who's ever worked in
consultancy,
