[Gllug] scsi host adaptor

For what its worth the LSILOGIC 'Fusion' chip-based adaptors are very good
and LSI provide a (source and binary) driver.  Not used one with Linux but I
have an onboard LSI 'fusion' scsi controller being used with SCO Openserver
which is great.   The fusion LSI cards are not cheap though  - about 140 quid
I think.
