The desktop percentage is still pretty small, so "will succeed" shows a
desire to see it grow significantly, I suspect :)

Also worth mentioning is the excellent penetration into the embedded
market. I wouldn't be at all surprised if there are several times as
many embedded Linux installs out there as there are servers and
desktops. Just think of all those routers, access points, black-box
network applications and now phones that run Linux :D
