Its not the ideal candidate for it [1] but you can install OpenWRT on
your existing device
(http://wiki.openwrt.org/OpenWrtDocs/Hardware/Netgear/WG602v3)

and then configure it as a wireless bridge.

I use a Linksys WRT54G, with OPenWRT, in this way at the moment.

on flash memory. See
