There are usb extenders that go up to ~ 100m and also I believe wireless 
extenders nowadays. It's entirely possible a simple powered hub would 
work, but you'd probably want the hub half-way between both.

I'd probably just use a simple network print-server. Can pick them up 
for under 40 quid and lets you put the printer anywhere you like.
