I should add that on my work laptop I have the Intel driver which
supports all the 3D joy of Beryl (or whatever they're calling it
today).  The closed source nVidia driver didn't really work properly
with Beryl.

It's interesting that people peer over your shoulder on the train when
you switch between desktops with Beryl ...
