re:  PCI ADSL modems

No experience myself  -  to be honest ADSL routers are cheap these days and
are a lot less hassle to use.  They do NATing for you and support more than
one PC with ease. THere are lots to choose from  - the ones based on the TI
AR5 (U think, from memory) 'all in one' chipset are very cehap and work well.
The chipset seems to be used by quite a few manufacturers now - and it runs
embedded Linux !!
