Most clients make the (I guess reasonable) assumption, that you're on
a normal phone with a numeric keypad.  When you have a comfortable
keyboard and you're trying to use the app quickly as a power user this
really gets in the way.  MIDP ssh is quite awful like this.  It does
work, but quickly grows unusable for me.  I don't think the mindterm
port is still around, but I remember its being very sluggish, actually
MIDP ssh was slow too, probably a Java issue.

Mocha telnet supports ssh, but is too limited (colours are poor).
PuTTY is fantastic as a client, but the authors haven't sorted a font
which fits well.  I keep meaning to try and address that issue myself,
but lack the time.

I should probably point out that, even with the annoyance of the 88x23
and the increased bulky feel (actually and several other interface
step backs from the S80 communicators), I do love the e90.
