Gnus makes it incredibly easy to attach an entire thread to an
email. I've no doubt competent mail software could then view the
messages as though in a regular mailbox (maybe after importing them to
individual messages).

Perhaps my correspondent(s) could consider using a style that I prefer?
I am, after all, their correspondent. Or does altruism only extend one way?
