We use a small Rugby Radio Clock from Galleon systems which works well.

You used to be able to get them from maplin, but I think Galleon supply
them direct.

They are battery operated (AAA) - which last for ages.

They connect to an RS232 port and provide accurate time in GMT or BST as
appropriate.

When I bought ours I had to knock up my own 'C' code to talk to the thing
- its 'standard userspace' code which runs on Unix, so it should work
fine with linux.

Happy to send the C code for you to look at !

Tim
