Well yes, but that still fails to answer the question of what is
deemed acceptable use and what's not. Presumably if you exceed the
600GB/month mentioned, that's deemed unacceptable. But it strongly
implies that less than that could also be considered unacceptable, at
BT's discretion. Indeed, it seems to say that they merely consider the
top 2% of bandwidth users to be consuming excessive amounts of
bandwidth, and thus liable to rate limiting. So it seems that whether
what you're using can be considered acceptable or not depends on what
their other customers happen to be doing...
