Rubbish.  Money gets routinely stolen without any physical object 
changing hands.

Is hacking into a bank and transferring money elsewhere somehow a lesser 
form of stealing than, say, taking a wallet from a locker, just because 
nothing physical was involved?  "Wealth infringement" perhaps?
