Not really thought about it, thinks ...; prob best if visitors to the
exhibition are not charged.
I can't really make guarantees until the sums have been worked out; but
I would like to make exhibition attendance free - that means that we get more
vistors which has got to be a good thing.
We are aiming (as is usual with UKUUG) for cost recovery. That means setting
prices so that we don't make a loss. I gather that the cost of a large
(IBM sized) stand at Olympia was about #30k + cost of having it built by
Olympia carpenters/... We would hope to charge an exhibitor much less than that
and let them bring/set-up their own stand.
I have had informal expressions of interest from potential commercial exhibitors.
