If you request it on http://bugs.centos.org/, it will get done with the next 
build of the plus kernels ( along with the userland tools required for the 
filesystem )

For your other question, yes you will need to rebuild stage2 to get a new 
filesystem into the installer.

Do you have the option of installing to a small'ish ext3 filesystem as /, and 
then install kmod-reiser*, build whatever Volumes you need with it ?
