Dear John,

I've analysed most of the responses to my original post and,
as usual, there are two camps: buy this product now and
accept its pros and cons immediately, or wait until a better
system appears.

Of course, some of us can wait forever for the perfect model
to materialise.

I'm going to buy this one because the price is right, now.
If something comes along that's better, then I can hand down
the current model to family and buy what's better at the
same price.
