That sounds like a very practical idea!

It reminds me, I had read about people who completely remove the cases when
doing this, I can't find the place I originally read this but the images
here would be an example http://je2bwm.at.infoseek.co.jp/ . It would save
me both a lot of weight and potentially space, solve the heating issues I
have and it might also be a fun weekend to set it all up. It would be made
easier by the fact that the bulk of the machines are identical and don't
have hard drives (they net boot), so I would only do it to those ones.

Does anyone have any experience of doing this?
