I've always found the Cherry keyboards to be the best, though the 6 year
old one I'm using right now has slightly worn key tops through very
heavy use. They're slightly more expensive than the average ones like
Logitech and the generic Dell types, but they are worth it for the added
reliability. They also do various "form factors", and this one is a
small type without a numerical keypad because I have very limited desk
space and no need of a "bells and whistles" keyboard.
