I quite like the way images are scaled up and down when you use Alt+/-

Apart from that I haven't noticed a lot of difference.  It doesn't
appear to be slow, but then I'm running it on dual and quad core
machines with 4+ GB of RAM so I'd be seriously concerned if it was
slow :-)
