[Gllug] Newbie video encoding question

If it's encoded to MPEG2, Quicktime can't play it back because Apple 
charge separately for the MPEG2 codec. See:

As someone else said, maybe try x264. It's a better compression 
algorithm anyway and it should work out of the box with QT.
