28 to 30k isn't necessarily that stingy, probably for most of the
posters on the list, but I imagine there are plenty of lurkers with
only a year or two's experience who would be happy at that salary -
heck a bunch of my friends would probably be able to do/get the job
straight out of uni and be glad of that size paycheck

Anybody here tried living on a non-graduate-techie london wage? 30k is
almost double what some of my family on london earn (and that's
despite them being well qualified at their jobs).
