Facebook? Who knows. There could be a variety of reasons, but if I
am going to put an effort into knowing more about the company, and
jump through the hoops they're going to put in the way to decide
whether I'm going to be good for the job or not, the very least they
can do is at least answer my question about the benefits and salary
level up-front.

As to John's comment about the Post industry - you really don't want
to know what my experience was like when I went for a job at
Framestore CFC (the 2nd attempt) - to say I was dismayed and generally
pissed off with them (Framestore) was an understatement. The little
bleeders didn't seem to listen to a thing I said. As such I wouldn't
work for a post house again unless it was under exceptional
circumstances. That said, MPC *are* one of the more clued up
companies out there, all grumbles aside, and whoever decides to go for
the job will find that they will be dealing with a very good bunch of
people. I can't say that many bad things about them, to be quite
honest. The systems team there is great.

I agree with this to an extent - I don't see social networking sites
going the same way as they are now three or four years down the line.

Regards,

Martyn
