Since I've wiped my Office install on my Windows XP laptop following a
re-install, I've relied on OO and Google docs without issue. Which is
nice as I've managed to move some work over to my CentOS desktop.

However I wouldn't describe myself as an advanced user, as I only need
to crank out the odd document, spreadsheet or presentation.

There are Linux alternatives such as KOffice(?) but if you regard OO as
immature, then I suspect KOffice will be also.

Personally I hate "office suites" but they are a necessary evil at times
as they seem unreasonably complex for most of my needs. In the mosts
cases something like Microsoft Works would do. I wonder if Sun Office is
any better?

Regards
