I put together a SuSE box a while back onto which the customer wanted
to put groupwise. The /mail file system I used ext3 ... but reformatted
as resierfs -- why ? Groupwise was creating directories with 1 million+
files / directory. Ext3 (then) did not handle it at all well.

So the workaround for groupwise stupidity was resierfs.

Before you shout at me: Yes there are better alternatives for each, but
it is what the customer wanted.
