I am not sure this is what you are looking for, but...

Red Hat Enterprise IPA (http://www.redhat.com/enterprise_ipa/) might be
of help. It can, or it will soon be able to, synchronise with MS Active
Directory.

FreeIPA could also be an option, but it would be unsupported.
