I was a RIPE LIR for a time and got 212.57.32.0 - 212.57.63.255
(potentially 8192 IP addresses). That was around 2000/2001.

Just checking now, and:

(a) That space is hardly being used, only 32.x - 34.x and even those
very sparsely.

(b) It's registered to a company that no longer exists at an
address that the company hasn't resided at for 5 years.

(c) It's registered to a person who hasn't worked for that defunct
company for longer than 5 years.

I hope this is not generally applicable to RIPE allocations.

Rich.
