A regular (weekly|monthly) social in some form of drinking establishment
might be a nice idea.

There's no real need for talks - though they are nice.

We are creatures of habit, so something regular where we don't have to
think about when it is is probably a good idea (Apologies, I am reading
some time management book for sysadmins /o\).

Votes for reserving space in somewhere central:

[ ] Monthly

With the idea of having a few social drinks after work.
