I have done all that with my first gen EeePC, so clearly my fingers
are nimbler :-)
Certainly there are some horrid compromises in some websites (Google's
Picassa is a pain in the neck to use) but I found the compromise
something I could live with.
The format simply could not be beaten, which probed quite useful when
travelling.
And Skype works quite well, I still use the EeePC as my main
international phone....
