I frequently find I want only a few tracks from a CD. I also don't
have a large amount of storage space for CDs. For things where I want
the whole CD, I agree, I usually buy the CD - then I can listen to it
in good quality, I can listen to it on my laptop, or from an iPod or
similar. However in some cases I am only interested in one song - I'm
not going to buy the whole CD for one song.
