Exactly. I don't expect my backups to save me from the return of the
glaciers, a nuclear strike, or Europe disappearing beneath the sea.
It's enough that they save me from fat-fingering and a disk failure or
two (actually, two: for one disk failure I have my RAID array).

Yet I call it a real backup.
