I meant to give a mention too 2Back in Action", www.backinaction.co.uk I
think, who supply this Back Friend and lots of other really expensive
stuff including I think stand up and sit down adjustable desks so one
can raise or lower the desktop (some people find standing for a while
helps with the back pain and alternate).

I can't recommend highly enough their Back Mobiliser, a full length
affair with rollers and a heater which makes the spine flex and
articulate. It's bloody murder at first but with persevereance I managed
to get a number of frozen vertebrae moving again and massage some deeply
scar tissued muscles (I had a NASTY accident as a 19 year old :-( It's
pricey but not as pricey as having a massage every day or two ro three
times a day which is what I needed, once a week just wasn't enough to
release the ingrained damage from the building site fall that nearly
killed me (working on the lump in the 60s so no compensation or any
liberal socialist rubbish like that of course...)
