[Gllug] Bios issue

Hi All,

A friend of mine has a machine (running Windows, unfortunately) which is
showing a BIOS fault. Fairly regularly, some of the BIOS settings get
returned to default. The machine is only 2 months old, so I doubt the battery
is flat, and in any case it can survive a period disconnected from the mains
and the effect happens over worm reboots as well as cold. I've checked that
the BIOS reset jumper is in the correct position (he won't yet let me clear
the BIOS.)

It's a Foxconn A6VMX series bought as 'bare bones' from Novatech. Does anyone
know of any issues with these boards? Would a BIOS upgrade be advisable
(getting him to agree to that might be difficult!)

Cheers
Dylan
