"Toughbook" and an IBM T41 (I think), all the laptop cases I've seen are
cheap plastic.

Not around here - we've returned a couple of broken machines (dropped on
to a concrete floor) and had them returned, repaired, in a few days.

No - they supplied our 1510s with Ubuntu on them, and charged £90 per
machine less than the Windoze-infested price.
