No, you mis-understand what I meant. Text mode wasn't simplified to help
the 'simple user'. It was simplified to reduce the development effort of
maintaining text mode on the basis that most users use graphical mode,
and those advanced users who don't will use kickstart. ie very few people
use text mode, and thus it is not a development priority compared to 
graphical or kickstart which are used by the vast majority of people.
