   Is there a wall of dust in the heat sink just below the fan? The fans are
usually held in place on the heatsinks with four screws or push clips, I
regularly remove fans, lift the label covering the sleeve bearing, drop in a
small quantity of high quality light oil (not 3-in-1, Singer Sewing Machine
Oil is better), then replace the label. Ball bearings are usually OK.
