[Gllug] experiences with mobile broadband devices?

Not as good as real broadband. Throughput worse, blocked ports,  
compulsory image degrading.

Filtering (but you can get the worst turned off).

There is built in support in recent kernels for some devices. It's not  
a replacement for real broadband though.
