No.  After a number of embarrassing email disasters in the company I
used to work for, BOTTOM posting was MANDATED - failure to comply would
first receive complaints from the managers, and would ultimately result
in disciplinary action if it persisted.  There was a notable improvement
in the quality of reply after this edict - users began to actually read
their emails!
