SSDs are getting very interesting in the HPC space, firstly as a top
tier in a storage system, which will make eg. databases go like the
sticky stuff off a shovel, and as OS type disks in blades.

claims five years of useful life. I have no experience of using these,
so I Can't say if this is true/false/wishful thinking
