Arf .. Most of what I remember about them was the insane windowing
system. In fact there is a screenshot here which brings it all back:

At the time I could never work out what the "I", "S" and "R" buttons
did. I assume looking at it now it must be something like "Iconize",
"Shut" and (?)"Reload".
