Do you shred your bank statements and other invoices that come to your
home? There's a huge amount of "dumpster diving" going on. With a bill
or two and a bank statement, gaining access to someones account is quite
trivial.
I bought a cheap "cross cut" shredder from Staples (about £15) and
there's little chance that even the most determined identity thief would
bother to try to piece together the shredded paper!
