It's utterly ridiculous to claim that because Finland can do that,
so can we. You simply can't compare the two. Finland has less than
10% of the number of households that the UK does, and the majority
are clustered around a very few fairly small metropolitan areas.
Thus laying fibre to a large percentage of the population is
comparatively easy and cheap.

In contrast, much of the South East of England is urbanised, a *huge*
area to cover, with many, many more households. I'd love higher speed
Internet access, but someone has to pay for it, and to be honest, I'm
not saturating my current 8Mb/s anyway.
