[Gllug] screen maximise itself

 I have noticed recently the window frame of the firefox 3.0.7 in my
ubuntu 8.10 has maximised itself extending to cover the top and the
bottom icon manual bar. I have to use f11 to change into full screen and
press f11 again to offset the full screen effect in order to get back to
the regular state where I can see both the top and bottom icon bars
showing the time and which window I am in.

Do you know how to stop this happening again?
