Are you sure about that?
I suspect that the combined overhead of running multiple instances
of your OS in multiple virtual machines will not come close to the
memory saved by KSM.
KSM is very bleeding-edge - good luck find a distro (or even a stable
kernel) that supports it.
It also complicates things greatly by having many more machines to
look after.
