Don't really care what the mixed motives for the apology were, but
speaking as a fellow gay, I'm just chuffed that someone has finally
thought it mattered enough to apologise for the state hounding someone
literally to death just for being gay.

It's also nice to have the important contributions of gay people
recognised.
