Is it possible to get colours on a good quality LCD display under Linux looking as good as Mac OS X or does OS X have something which can't be emulated? I've wanted to move everything I do to Linux for some time now but I just can't get used to the way colours look on my nice Formac Gallery LCDs when I plug them into Ubuntu. The whites and greys within OS X are just so much more vibrant. Maybe colour calibration via XP then imported to Ubuntu?
Anyone managed to get Linux looking as good as OS X regarding display colour?
