...and I've found it fairly trivial to build stuff for Maemo - after you've
installed the multi-gigabyte build environment. In fact the first time I
ever got round to building Debian packages was to use on my N800. Must
point out that all the stuff I built was CLI/curses, so I didn't have to do
any real work.
Btw, does anyone know if Maemo development has effectively ceased now that
it's been rolled together with Moblin to make MeeGo? These things are all
very cool for various reasons, but as a fan of Debian ways I was put off the
N900 and successors due to MeeGo adopting RPM packaging etc.
